Tito is an introverted albino who must suddenly and against his will travel from his native Panama to Costa Rica to take care of his father Cesar, who has fallen ill. They have a difficult relationship, barely know each other.
Tito’s only wish is to get back to Panama to compete in a bowling tournament, but Cesar has different plans for him. Lost in his glory years as a “boxing trainer of champions” and in denial about the seriousness of his condition, Cesar defies his doctor’s orders and insists upon a road trip back to Panama. Exasperated, Tito agrees, and the two embark upon the marathon drive.
Playful and at times poignant, this is one road trip you won’t want to miss.
